Bill Whatcott and some fellow Christians (in disguise) handed out gospel tracts with information warning against homosexuality at 2016 Toronto Pride Parade. He was not arrested at that time, but Morgane Oger (the ‘trans-activist’ vice-president of the BC NDP party) made a complaint against him, and police recently issued a Canada-wide warrant for his arrest, for the crime of “hate speech”.
Bill turned himself in at the Calgary Police Headquaters on June 22, 2018. It was handled professionally at first, but things quickly deteriorated. He wasn’t fed anything for 24 hours, and although prescribed medication for an eye infection and a leg inflammation, it was later withheld. He had no bed for 3 days – just a concrete floor. One police officer did not even allow him to sleep. When he fell asleep, he was woken up by the police officer in the hospital and horrible things were said to him. He wrote: “it was obvious I was facing a powerful homosexual activist machine that encompassed the police, courts and Ontario government.”
Before granting bail, the police attempted to get him to sign a pledge to not discuss the case or anything about homosexuality, however he refused. Finally, his lawyer was able to get him released anyway. Bill was thrown out on the streets of Toronto, with no way to get back to Calgary. Thankfully, friends helped him. Then he got a phone call from his employer, with the news he has no job anymore (because of LGBT harassment of his employer).
Many good hearted people want to help the family, since Bill is the only financial provider due to his wife Jadranka’s medical condition. Sadly, GoFundMe shut down their campaign after homosexual activists complained, and the money raised was returned to donors.
